Some quick summer updates:

John just finished his run as the Maitre'd in the stage production of
Cabaret and is happily now busy with being a soccer dad. He's also writing songs toward a new JFM solo album, which will take place sometime in the future as the necessary elements fall into place.

Geoffrey is on the road with The Paperboys on a regular basis, visiting some of his favourite haunts in North America and Overseas...

Vince's summer:
Vince R. Ditrich Management & Production has just sent "House of Doc" out on their Canada-wide Summer Tour. More recording with the Docs is tentatively slated for October.
Winnipeg popsters "Quinzy", another VRD Mgmt act, are gearing up for the unveiling and showcasing of their new lineup.
Vince is also onboard to co-produce the play "Debt: The Musical" (Script by Leslie Mildiner / Music by Todd Butler). Please stay tuned for announcements on venue and dates for this hilarious stage presentation. At some point, before the summer is over, Vince plans to shut his laptop off for an entire day and go to the beach.

Hugh's spring was filled with the completion of James Keelaghan's new album, "A Few Simple Verses", which he co-produced with James. It was recorded in three countries, with musicians including the Irish group "Danu", the UK/Aus duo James Fagan and Nancy Kerr, members of the Duhks, Ruth Moody of the Wailin' Jennys, and of course James and Hugh.
Hugh also worked with Cara Luft on her upcoming stellar solo release (working title: "Agincourt"), playing basses and mandolins, lap steel and acoustic guitar. This is her first solo album since leaving the Wailin' Jennys, and her third overall. The album was produced by none other than Neil Osborne of 54-40, who was "a blast to work with -- he'd never done a folk album before, and Cara wanted to rock, so it was perfect! He totally 'got it'."
The late spring saw Hugh touring the Eastern US and Mid-Southern UK with James Keelaghan, then a short prairie tour with Cara, and the Wpg and Vanc. Folk Festivals with Keelaghan. Aug has two shows with the wonderous
Oscar Lopez in Calgary and Edmonton, at the Latina Festivals.

Not a simple process... sure helps having a great team though. Looking forward to finally getting some updated content after a while to fill up the roomy space we have now...
Feel invited and encouraged to leave us comments, thanks for viewing!!

After many weeks of tumbleweeds and whistling winds, we are in the process of updating our website! Coming up with a look is no easy matter when four disparate minds are involved, but Jeff Carter of FourSerious Creations is on the case, and Freedom To Groove plus PromoFact are implementing the cleaner, fresher look.

Some shows are in the offing as well, Feldman and Assoc. are working around the clock to fill the week between the 16 and the 25 of March. So far it looks as though it will be a coastal theme, with gigs on both west and east coasts.
